This photo was also in the possession of Julia Horton Appleton and is badly damaged. Our contributor believes it also pictures a child of James Smith Horton who had 17 children in Russellville, AL. The couple in the photo would have been born in the late 1800s. It is not known if the man or the woman is a Horton.
